Launched in 2002, it is the primary broadcaster for Major League Baseball's New York Yankees and the NBA's Brooklyn Nets. The network is the most-watched regional sports network in the United States and has won numerous Emmy Awards. In addition to Yankees and Nets coverage, YES televises college sports and soccer from teams like Manchester City. The network is owned by a consortium including Yankee Global Enterprises, Main Street Sports Group, Amazon, The Blackstone Group, RedBird Capital, and Mubadala Investment Company.
